Fresh out of art school, Aymeric Caulay explores the idea that a work of art must take over both a space and its environment. He immerses himself in a certain context and creates art works that are primarily sculptural.
The common point they all share is that they reveal the process that brought them into being. for this piece, Caulay visited companies that extract and transform clay. The result is a giant clay backhoe foregrounding the different phases of its own production.
