Artist Carol Müller and physicist Jacques Marteau return from their expedition to Iceland where they explored the Snæfellsjökull volcano after following in the footsteps of the protagonists in Jules Verne’s 1864 novel Journey to the Center of the Earth.
On the volcano’s slopes, a cosmic particle detector scans the depths of the Earth. Above ground, Carol Müller’s camera captures the infinite shifts in the landscape.
