At odds with the usual approach to museum visits, the exhibit Please touch! Art and matter invites visitors to embark on a new sensorial experience around sculpture: here you can touch, feel, handle… and you can even do it blindfolded!
On the initiative of the Musée Fabre de Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole, seven fine arts museums (Montpellier, Lyon, Rouen, Lille, Bordeaux, Nantes and Rennes) bring together reproductions of sculptures from their collections to allow visitors to take control over this tactile discovery of masterpieces dealing mainly with the human figure, from Antiquity to 20th century abstraction.
