The anonymous of the reserves of the museum of Arts of Nantes
Anonymous artists… All museums have their share of unknown creators in their collections. these works either have illegible signatures or are unsigned, but they allow us to imagine any number of stories regarding their histories. Mon nom est personne offers an opportunity to exhibit – exclusively and without distinction – a set of anonymous works from the 17th to the 20th century, displayed without information cards. the spectator stands before an author-less work.
