Passage Sainte-Croix
Pas de rose pour l’infini
Laurent Pernot

Laurent Pernot’s works revolve around notions of the visible and invisible, time and memory, the ephemeral and the eternal, human beings and nature… A dreamlike dimension emerges from his poetic, fragile and eerie world.

For Passage Sainte-Croix, the artist gathered together works echoing his installation in Place Royale (see p.21). Like an invitation to continue the journey towards the Wind, Sand and Stars (“La Terre  des Hommes” in French)  – a reference to Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s book of the same name – Laurent Pernot takes visitors to a world of stars, water and earth before human life emerged.
