this exhibition explores the emancipatory role of women’s sports throughout history using past and contemporary images.
From early pioneers to today’s female athletes, archival images interact with photographs by A. Flesch, A. Chamelat, and J. Briend to celebrate the athletes who have surpassed society’s imposed limits, while also highlighting the crucial role sports have played in women’s evolution in society.
