Histoires de rien, tempête de tout
works by the winners of Nantes’ annual Visual Arts Prize (2023): Clélia Berthier, Meg Boury, Margaux Moëllic et Igor Porte.
June 28th — August 31st 2025

Mixing wonder, violence, indulgence, and humour, Histoires de rien, tempête de tout is a refuge inviting us inside to collectively reinvent the intimacy of our ecosystems.

Combining culinary sculpture, performance, installation, object theatre, and sound, this exhibition seesaws between celebration and alarm, bringing us face-to-face with the most intimate aspects of ourselves, where every detail counts and can contain worlds – for better or for worse.
Concentrating on objects, foods, and species across different timelines and geographies, the exhibition invites us to listen more closely, to sharpen our attention, and to renew our perspective on the world around us. A pat of butter, a stilt, a gourd, a bedside lamp, Bethmale clogs, or a cafeteria tray-cart – all of them share their stories.
