Running for nine months, this exhibition explores motherhood through archaeological discoveries and their connections to contemporary society.
Addressing the many dimensions of maternal roles, it examines changing perceptions of motherhood across time and cultures. The exhibition concludes with a gallery of women – mothers and non-mothers alike – inviting one to reflect on the place of women within society today.
