The Muscadet Experience offers a fun, immersive, and sensory journey into the world of Muscadet – Nantes’s emblematic wine. To experience it, wine lovers should head to La Muscadetterie, in Nantes.
Designed as a journey where one and all can discover Muscadet wine, The Muscadet Experience invites visitors to explore this grape using all 5 senses.
Participants are first welcomed by a guide who introduces them to the history of Nantes’ wine region.
Visitors then embark on a series of sensory activities and games: touching stones, smelling wine aromas, listening to sounds, tasting, and observing.
As the experience unfolds, participants discover the history of Muscadet, learn to identify the characteristics of this Loire Valley wine, understand its connection to the terroir, and explore the diversity of flavours and aromas.
The experience concludes with a guided tasting of five Muscadet vintages. Non-alcoholic alternatives are also available, allowing everyone to fully enjoy the experience.
