At the heart of the vegetable garden known as the Potager de la Cantine, Lilian Bourgeat adds his comic and allegorical vision of a garden farmer who forgot one of his tools after a hard day\u2019s work: a pair of rubber boots.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Everyday subjects and encounters with unique situations form the heart of Lilian Bourgeat\u2019s work. His hyperrealist (yet larger-than-life) objects sit on the border separating functionality from excess.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now a permanent fixture of Le Potager de la cantine, this pair of two neglected right-foot boots \u2013 three metres (10 feet) tall, size 2 000, and destined to live forever in the \u201cinvendu\u201d (or \u201cunsold\u201d) bin \u2013 seem to have been left there by a green giant, inviting visitors to construct a new narrative of a contemporary tale.<\/p>\n\n\n\t<\/div><\/section>\n\t
