The artist draws her inspiration from objects and art history, combining them in her inventive compositions. Her oil paintings bring together nude women with graceful, white, almost transparent bodies, sensually bathed in colour and light, existing in natural landscapes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Khatibi\u2019s permanent work for La Persagoti\u00e8re presents a stone sculpture echoing these paintings in which a giant, nude woman (5 m\/16 ft. tall) made of peperino and partially covered with moss, stands tall like a caryatid. At the foot of the sculpture, various objects are laid out like offerings for a mysterious ritual that we are invited to partake in.
