Covered in an array of lucky charms, this \u201cgood genie\u201d has vowed to protect the boutique and surrounding streets. He also sports a beaver\u2019s tale (allusion to the original shop named \u201cAu vrai castor\u201d or \u201cThe True Beaver\u201d), references to Nantes and its ma- ritime symbols (Neptune\u2019s trident \u2013 which refers to the city\u2019s motto, \u201cNeptune favours those who travel\u201d), as well as different protective symbols (a clover, a <em>mano The first store\u2019s name set the tone: here, one would \u201cride all,\u201d where SKATE could easily transform into STEAK (perfect anagrams) \u2013 which is perfect, given its next-door neighbour!
