Hidden among the foliage, these ornamental objects take the form of bracelets, pendants, or charms. They are inspired by nature itself, and are made to resemble vegetal outgrowths, creatures, or organisms living in symbiosis with their host tree.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

For the 2024 edition of Le Voyage \u00e0 Nantes, Maison Pelletier Ferruel was commissioned to create jewelry singling out roughly thirty remarkable trees selected in collaboration with the city\u2019s Nature and Parks Department, which can be found along the green line and in Nantes\u2019 vineyards. These eye-catching creations invite one and all to rediscover these silent witnesses to our region\u2019s histories, both great and small.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inspired by folk and decorative arts, these unique, colourful, and precious pieces blend traditional craftsmanship with contemporary creation. Hidden among the foliage, these ornamental objects take the form of bracelets, pendants, or charms. They are inspired by nature itself, and are made to resemble vegetal outgrowths, creatures, or organisms living in symbiosis with their host tree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For 2025, these jewels have found a new display case: in Nantes\u2019 Jardin des Plantes, atop the garden\u2019s highest hill, is a spot with a wide variety of conifers offering a privileged vantage point over the entire park. Moving them here recentres the project, where these precious works resonate with this site\u2019s history and rich biodiversity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this new scenography, the jewelry dialogues with surrounding space, becoming part of a single microcosm. Nestled in branches or suspended above a path, they are now an integral part of the landscape, inviting visitors on a sensorial exploration of the garden.<\/p>\n\n\n\t<\/div><\/section>\n\t

Maison Pelletier Ferruel is a creative workshop where glass is blown, sculpted, moulded, and imbued with folk and decorative arts. Each object is unique and the result of a daily practice of experimentation.<\/p>\n
