A sort of zoo filled with references to Nantes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

This year, Le Voyage \u00e0 Nantes and Naolib have invited artist duo Florentine and Alexandre Lamarche-Ovize to transform two streetcars into canvases that will move throughout the city. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The result is Le train fant\u00f4me (\u201cGhost Train\u201d) \u2013 a sort of zoo filled with references to Nantes: an elephant representing Les Machines de l\u2019\u00eele; underwater creatures from Jules Verne novels, a duck and a turtle found in Jardin des Plantes; along with more exotic creatures, like a flamingo, a hippo, and a crocodile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Florentine and Alexandre Lamarche-Ovize were born in 1978 and 1980 respectively. They live and work in Aubervilliers. They are represented by the galleries Laurent Godin, (Paris), Lefebvre & Fils, (Paris), Galerie Luis Adelantado, (Valencia, Spain).<\/p>\n
