Barreau Charbonnet invite the public to admire the Magnolia\u2019s delicate flowers via a wooden structure made using a traditional naval carpentry technique called <em>bois tors<\/em>, or \u201cknees\u201d. In doing so, they create a visual and symbolic connection with the era of the great maritime expeditions, when ships left the port of Nantes and brought plant treasures back with them.<\/p>\n\n\n\t<\/div><\/section>\n\t<section class=\"VAN22_NOTE VAN22_BG_gris\"><div class=\"VAN22_LIMIT_SECTION\"><p>Nicolas Barreau and Jules Charbonnet were born in 1986.
