The Château de Châteaubriant combines ten centuries of history.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

 Circa 1050, Lord Brient had a first castle built on this rocky promontory. From 1490 onwards, Fran\u00e7oise de Dinan (the governess of Queen Anne of Brittany), and later Jean de Laval transformed the former courtyard, building a Renaissance residence and gardens.<\/p>\n\n\n
