The Parc des Oblates was inaugurated as Nantes\u2019 100th park in 2013. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

It was built on the grounds of an old convent garden, and contains a wide variety<\/p>\n\n\n\n

of plants, along with public allotment gardens, playgrounds and picnic areas. A herd of \u201cbelle-\u00eele\u201d sheep lives in the lower part of the park, which also offers a breathtaking view of the Loire River. Among the rows of oak trees, stone pines and cedars, visitors can stroll along the \u201cchemin des soupirs\u201d (the \u201cpath of sighs\u201d) that leads to the Congregation buildings.<\/p>\n\n\n\t<\/div>\n\t<\/section>\n\t
