Laurent Perbos

The world of sports is very present in Laurent Perbos’ work.

Laurent Perbos regularly enjoys transforming terrains and other sportsrelated elements (a soccer ball, a dartboard...) by giving them new proportions. Once
modified, these nevertheless familiar objects offer a new reflection on notions of failure, victory and competition.

With this work, Laurent Perbos imagines a unique play area with a set of revisited ping pong tables that can be enjoyed as a duo or in teams!

Continuing what he started with Ping-Pong Park in 2016, Laurent Perbos completes the itinerary with a new piece: Glycine
Glycine represents a new step in Laurent Perbos’ work, who is no stranger to reappropriating playgrounds or sports equipment. His approach now extends to the use of everyday objects as the possible base for new sculptural objects.
