In Sainte-Luce, there is a hamlet called Bellevue that once thrived with cafés and open-air dance halls.
On the corner of Route des Sables – recently refurbished for cyclists and pedestrians – and Promenade de Bellevue, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of the river. The designers behind Vraiment Vraiment (Talking Things) have created a set of outdoor furniture that alternates between bleachers, high tables for anyone wanting to eat standing, and long picnic tables. Visitors can also take advantage of a pétanque terrain on summer evenings, and a tiny stand offering refreshments and light meals all day long (July/August).
