Benjamin Péret’s poems, as well as his manuscripts and books – often illustrated by the most famous Surrealist painters – as well as photos of him are on display to help visitors discover, read and even love the man and poet.
Alongside these documents, the exhibition features first-hand accounts of the life and career of a man devoted to his literary and political activism – and to his friendship with André Breton.
