Parc des Oblates
Cours à travers
Pierre-Alexandre Rémy

Five stoneware ceramics, enamelled in bleu de Sèvres, dialogue with the curved metal lines that try to break free from gravity’s pull. All along its 15 metres, the sculpture sits among the partitions of the garden’s tree-lined walkways.

Designed for the Cours Cambronne on the occasion of the 2016 edition of the Voyage à Nantes and then presented in the gardens of the Nantes City Hall from 2017 to 2020, the work now fits into the new, wilder setting of the Parc des Oblates, amidst sheep and spontaneous vegetation.
