For many, spiders are black, hairy, and dangerous. But, behind these prejudices hides a vast and surprising world.
Colourful and often minuscule, attentive mothers and unparalleled engineers, spiders have much more to teach and offer than we might imagine. This exhibition allows us to discover them, from the surprising aspects of their biology to the myths surrounding them, exploring their lifestyle and offering an overview of the region’s different species. Collector’s items, living specimens or scale models, films, images and informative signs provide a better understanding of this animal!
Exhibition designed for the National Museum of Natural History in Paris and the Espace des sciences in Rennes. Scenography and organization by the Muséum de Nantes.
