“La Maison Radieuse” is emblematic of Le Corbusier’s vision of architecture for the good of human development.

Le Corbusier’s vision was to create a form of architecture that would lead to human fulfillment. This building, which can be seen from different points in Nantes, is the second residential building designed by the famous architect. It was inaugurated in 1955, following his first version in Marseilles, and before that of Berlin.

OPENING HOURS
Guided tours by the city of Rezé
Visits all year round on Wednesdays at 4 p.m. and Saturdays at 11 a.m. (except on french bank holidays). Additional visits on Friday at 4 p.m. during school holidays (french B zone). One cannot visit the building unaccompanied.
